1)    Why are there only 500 matches on my Database search?
We have decided to limit results to the first 500 for purposes of speeding up the query to the server. If you have more than 500 matches, you should better define your search parameters - Limiting the search to one Trail or area is the best bet.
2)    Why do we need to accept cookies?
In order to be able to tie into our massive database and give you the functionality you desire, we have programmed the site using Active Server Pages (ASP). ASP requires the use of cookies. If you have Internet Explorer, You have the option of accepting "per session cookies" only. These cookies are gone once you log off the site. If you would like to try this, log into the itinerary (uncheck the remember me box) and close your browser. When you come back you'll have to log in again. If you don't want to log in all the time, leave the "remember me" box checked and we will write a small cookie to your computer.
